Shipping
Alameda Packaging LLC uses UPS to ship most domestic online orders. Our online shopping cart will automatically calculate the freight cost based on the weight of the items you have selected and applicable handling and processing fees. During the checkout process, you will be asked to select a Shipping Method to use for your order (ground, 3 day, 2 day or overnight). You must select a shipping method. Most orders will ship within 5-10 business days plus transit times. We will notify you if the ship date on any of your items shall be longer than 10 business days. The ownership of the goods are transferred to the buyer at the time that a common carrier or UPS picks up the goods. All damage or shortage claims must be filed with the trucking company directly. We will be happy to provide you with the supporting documents that you may need to file your claim against the carrier. We encourage our customers to examine the shipment at delivery time and make the appropriate notation regarding the damage or shortage on the delivery documents. You also have the option of refusing to accept the damage goods at the delivery time, if the shipment is clearly damaged in such a way that the merchandise can not be used. Regardless of how you choose to deal with the damage and shortage, the claim will still need to be filed with the carrier.
Returns
No returns without authorization (RA) number will be allowed. There will be a 25% restocking charge with all authorized returns. Unauthorized returns will be refused at delivery. All claims and request for return authorization must be received by Alameda Packaging LLC via fax (510-651-2396) within 5 days after receipt of goods. Return Authorizations are good for 15 days after the issuance date. Returned goods even with a valid RA will not be accepted, if they arrive later than 15 calendar days at each designated return address. All custom orders are non-cancelable & non-returnable.
